“I went to undergrad with the idea of doing research, but I ended up wanting something more personal, where I could interact with and educate people. As a physician assistant, I get to do that,” says Annalyse Strasburg. A student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison at the time, she finished her bachelor’s degree in Biology before enrolling at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Practice and is NCCPA board certified. Annalyse enjoys her job because she likes seeing patients through their entire healthcare experience. “I like orthopedics because you can see the problem and see the results; you get to go through the process with them. I get to see people in clinic, then assist with the surgery and follow up in the hospital. It’s great.”
Annalyse also enjoys playing tennis and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers. When she’s not watching or playing sports, she’s enjoying the company of family and friends.
